Three lovely vintage dessert or pie plates from J. & G. Meakin (Staffordshire, England), in a shape and design called Sterling "Renaissance," which features elaborate scrolls of white flowers on a green trim.
Each plate measures 7 inches wide across the rim. There are no chips or cracks, and almost no utensil marks, and very little crazing. The plates make a lovely display.
The mark reads "English Staffordshire /Sterling / Renaissance/ Genuine Hand Engraving / Permanent Colours / J. & G. / Meakin / England." Price: $15.00.

English Staffordshire
Three lovely vintage cups and saucers from J. & G. Meakin (Staffordshire, England), in a shape and design called Sterling "Renaissance," featuring elaborate scrolls of white flowers on a green trim.
The saucers (with a raised center) are 6 inches wide. The cups are 3-1/8 inches high and 3 inches wide at the rim. Both the saucers and the cups are in great condition, with very little sign crazing or utensil marks, and no chips or cracks.
The mark on the saucers reads "J. & G. / Meakin / England / Sterling / Renaissance." The cups have an incised "Meakin / England" mark. Price: $15.00.
