"Peach Blossom"
Oval Serving Platter

A platinum-trimmed oval serving platter from W.S. George in Lido shape and Canarytone color (pale yellow or cream). It is decorated with bright pink peach blossom flowers, in a pattern called "Peach Blossom"(see item 28199 at replacements.com).

The platter measures 11.75 inches long by 9 inches wide. This piece is in fair to good condition. There are several small fleabites and shallow chips on the under-edge of the rim (none showing from the top, email me for more photos). There are no cracks or hairlines, and multiple but light utensil marks.

This vintage piece is stamped "LIDO / W. S. George / Canarytone / Made in U.S.A. / 195*" (*=partially obscured number), plus 5S8619/2H/. Price: $12.00.l
