Oval Platter

A very pretty oval serving platter from Homer Laughlin China in the pattern "Ferndale" on the Eggshell Nautilus shape. This platter is decorated with floral rose sprays in pink, yellow, and blue, with cream (tan) rim and gold trim.

The platter measures 11-5/8 inches long and 9 inches wide across the middle. It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, flakes, or hairlines. The gold trim is pretty much intact (about 85%), and the floral pattern is very clean (no scratches). There are very few signs of utensil marks and no crazing.

The platter is stamped in green on the bottom: "HLC / Eggshell Nautilus / U S A / H50 N5." Price: $20.00

"Eggshell Nautilus" Creamer

A Homer Laughlin China Company creamer in a pattern called "Ferndale" in the Eggshell Nautilus shape. This creamer is decorated with floral rose sprays in pink, yellow, and blue, with gold trim on a tan rim.

This piece measures about 5.75 inches long from spout tip to handle end and 4.5 inches wide at the center; it sits 3.25 inches high at the top of the handle. The creamer is in very good to excellent condition, with no chips or cracks or other flaws that I can find. The gold trim is very intact.

The creamer is stamped in green on the bottom with: "HLC / Eggshell Nautilus / U S A / D52 N5." Price: $12.00

Oval Serving Platter

A lovely piece of vintage Homer Laughlin China, with a light pink rim, gold trim and verge, and embossed ends. This piece dates to 1944. This pattern, very similar to Marilyn (pink), is on the shape "Eggshell Nautilus.There is gold decoration at the rim and verge, with nicely detailed embossed handles on the pink rim.

This vintage piece is in very good condition. It measures 9 inches long and 6-1/8 inches wide at the center. It is in very good condition, with just a little wear to the gold trim. There are no chips or cracks, and medium-light utensil marks.

The HLC mark on the underside reads: HLC / EGGSHELL NAUTILUS / U.S.A. / M44 N5
