Canonsburg
4 Dinner Plates,
Wild Clover Pattern

Terrific Mid-Century Design

Offered for auction: Four dinner plates from Canonsburg in a pattern called "Wild Clover" (discontinued c. 1960). This popular mid-century modern pattern shows hot pink clover flowers on a gray stem with gray leaves.

These 9.5-inch plates are in very good to excellent condition. The clover designs are richly colored (not faded or scratched), and there are very few visible utensil marks or scuffs. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, flakes, or crazing. Price: $16.00.

Canonsburg Plate,
Westchester Pattern

10-inch plate, showing very little use, lovely pattern

A delightful piece of Canonsburg: a 10-inch plate, with rich details of bird and flowers in the transfer design. The outer border comprises three larger flowers and three smaller buds; the central pattern si a large bird sitting in a garden--a charming and whimsical design.

Note the lovely colors and fine design. The border is in excellent condition, and the central areas show very light crazing (right photo). It isn't noticeable until you look carefully, so this plate displays beautifully.

A very rich plate, this one is full of sharp and fanciful detail.
Price: $12.00
