Four 9-inch Luncheon Plates

Four very solid luncheon plates from Shenango China's restaurant ware line. This pattern has a hard-fired white glaze, with a thick outer green wavy border (replacements.com item 151916).

These plates are in very good condition (excellent for restaurant ware), with almost no signs of use or wear. There are no fleabites or utensil marks or scuffs. The plates measure 9 inches wide at the rim. There some slight shading differences in the green trim (some darker, some brighter).

The bottom is marked with the green Indian logo and the text "Shenango China / New Castle, PA. U.S.A. / RimRol WelRoc / G-14." Price: $12.00.

3 Pink & White Luncheon Plates
Restaurant Ware

Three air-brushed luncheon plates from Shenango China (restaurantware) in an unnamed pattern (see replacements.com item 260558). They are decorated with a pink-to-white fade design.

These vintage Shenango plates measures 8 inches wide. They are in very good condition, with the kind of utensil marks you expect to see on restaurant pieces (lots, but not too deep). There are no cracks, chips, flakes, or hairlines, and the richly colored finish is very intact.

The bottom is stamped "Shenango China / New Castle, Pa. U.S.A. / Interpace / 8H-35" (or other numbers). Price: $12.00.

Six (6) Small Restaurant-ware Salad Plates
Pink Roses on Brown Scrolls, Yellow Border

Six pieces of heavy Shenango restaurant ware, decorated with pink roses on a brown scroll, with yellow trim. I believe these are small salad plates.

Each plate measures 7-1/8 inches wide at the rim. They are in very good condition, with almost no utensil marks or other signs of use. There are no chips or cracks or crazing, and the colors are rich and intense in the borders. These appear to have never (or rarely) been used. The base of each plate is stamped "Shenango China / New Castle, PA." Price: $15.00.

Shenango Rimmed Cereal Bowl
Restaurant Ware

A very solid rimmed cereal bowl from Shenango China, decorated with a tan band with floral designs and baskets of fruit. (I believe this is item 93918 at replacements.com.)

This richly decorated bowl is in very good condition. There are medium-light utensil marks (fewer than I usually see on Shenango restaurant pieces), with no chips, cracks, or flaws that I can find. It measures 6.25 inches wide across the rim and 1.5 inches at the sides. The bottom is marked with the sitting Indian logo and "Shenango China / New Castle, Pa." Price: $9.00.

8.25-inch Large Salad or Luncheon Plate

A very solid salad or small luncheon plate from Shenango China's restaurant ware line. It has a hard-fired white glaze, with a thick outer brown border of laurel leaves intersecting a key (chi) pattern. (See replacements.com pattern 117007.)

This piece is in good condition for restaurant ware. There are no cracks, chips, flakes, crazing, or hairlines, but there are heavy utensil marks. The plate measures 8.25 inches wide across the rim. The bottom is marked with the green Indian logo and the mark: "Shenango China / New Castle, PA. U.S.A. / 2-3." Price: $7.50

TWO Individual Creamers
Ribbed Key (Chi) Design

Two very elegant individual creamers from Shenango China's restaurantware line. They have a golden yellow-colored chi (Greek key) design with ribbed sides.

Each small creamer is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips, flakes, crazing, or hairlines. They measure 3 inches high at the tip and 3.75 inches wide from spout tip to handle end.

The bottom of one is blank, the other is marked with a black stamp for "Shenango China / New Castle, Pa. / U.S.A. / M-21." Price for the pair: $7.50
