Ridge / 3 Pieces, Colonial Shape Threee pieces of richly colored, hand-painted "Ridge Daisy" pattern from Blue Ridge/Southern Pottery, decorated with yellow flowers with brown centers and dark green leaves. This auction is for 1 luncheon plate and 2 bread and butter plates. The luncheon plate measures 9.25 inches across the rim. It is in very good condition; there is one rough spot but I believe it is original to make. There are no chips, cracks, or flakes. There are light utensil marks. The bread and butter plates measure 6.25 inches wide. One is in very good condition, one has several chips on the underside of the rim.

inches wide, 2.25 inches high, This lovely, hand-painted serving bowl is decorated with a pair of bosc pears, in golden yellow with red highlights, and green leaves. The edges of the plate have a beaded border in the "Candlewick" shape and a green trim border. The underglaze back stamp reads "Blue Ridge / Hand Painted Underglaze / Southern Potteries, Inc. / Made in U.S.A. / 11J" (see bottom photo). This bowl has condition problems. It has a couple of very lightly browned spots on the inside base (photo at right). There is also some staining on the underside (photo below), and there is a .5-inch rim chip on the underside of the edge (photo below right, not visible from top). Price: $7.
