Arabia of Finland: 10.25-inch Dinner Plates (up to 4)
Platinum and Pink Trim

A very mod-design from Arabia of Finland, these dinner plates have an light brown-tan glaze (not as white as the camera flash looks) decorated with thin and thick platinum bands and a red (or pink) line around the rim (see replacements.com item #167199, pattern Ara73).

Each plate measures 10.25 inches wide. They are in very good to excellent condition. There is almost no wear to the thick platinum border (photos at right and below), and the pink band around the rim is very solid. There are very light utensil marks, and no other flaws that I can see.

Each plate is marked in orange on the bottom with "ARABIA / Suomi, Finlandia 75 / Made in Finland." There is also an impressed Arabia mark.

Arabia of Finland:
Large 11.5-inch Suomi Platter

A very mod-design from Arabia of Finland, this large platter has a rich bone white (tan) glaze decorated with thin and thick platinum bands on the verge and a red (or pink) line around the rim (see replacements.com item #167199, pattern Ara73).

This nice piece measures 11.5 inches long and 7-5/8 inches wide. It is in very good to excellent condition. There is light wear to the thick platinum border (photos at right and below), and one spot where the pink band around the rim is worn. There are light utensil marks, but no crazing, chips, cracks, or flakes. This piece is marked in orange on the bottom with "ARABIA / Suomi, Finlandia 16 / Made in Finland." Price: $25.00
