A wonderfully decorated platter from Wellsville China, featuring a carriage and lamp, with grill work and fleurs-de-lys (a very New Orleans look). The design is spray-painted (stencil) in a nice brownish-gray color.

This scalloped platter measures 11.5 inches long across the ends and 9.5 inches wide at the middle. It is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks, but a medium amount of utensil marks (average for restaurant ware). The colors and designs are solid.

The underside is stamped under glaze with a mark for Wellsville China, Wellsville, Ohio. Price: $7.50.
