13.75" Oval Serving Platter
Coupe Shape, Blue-Yellow-Green Leaves on Gray Stripes

A very nicely designed coupe-shape oval platter from Stetson China, with a gray-striped white body and a very 1950s design of lobster-claw leaves in blue, green, and yellow. I have not found a name for this pattern (but see replacements.com pattern STT25, "blue, yellow, green leaves on stripes").

This piece is in good condition. It measures 13.75 inches long and 10.25 inches wide at the rim. There are light to medium utensil marks (none that mar the design). There is one glaze pop on the edge of the rim, and one shallow flake or chip at the edge (see closeup photos at top). There is also light crazing on the underside, but not on the face.

This plate has a round green stamp for "Stetson China Co. / Linicoln ILL / Copyright 1955 / Handpainted / Under-Glaze." (Be sure to check out the matching dinner plate I also currently have listed. I gladly combine shipping!) Price: $9.00.
