Offered for auction: A lovely large 12-ounce creamer in the "Biscay" pattern from Royal Doulton China, described at replacements.com (item 80581) as "Lambethware, blue bands," 1972-1988.

This Doulton creamer measures 4.25 inches high and 3.25 inches wide at the foot. It is in very good to excellent condition, with rich trim and nicely defined multiple shades of blue bands on the gray glaze. There are no utensil marks that I can see, and no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, or crazing.

The creamer has a detailed stamp under the glaze that reads: "Lambeth Stoneware / Royal Doulton / Biscay / L.S. 1007 / Made in England". Price: $12.00.

“Sandsprite”
Sugar Bowl with Lid & Creamer

Offered for auction: A lovely large 12-ounce creamer and matching sugar bowl with in the "Sandsprite" pattern from Royal Doulton China, described at replacements.com (item 80581) as "Lambethware, blue bands," 1972-1988.

This Doulton creamer measures 4.25 inches high and 3.25 inches wide at the foot. The creamer is in excellent condition, with rich trim and nicely defined designs.

The sugar bowl measures 3.25 inches high (without the lid), and 4 inches wide across the foot. There is a very shallow 1/4-inch chip or flake on the inside rim of the sugar bowl lid (my camera couldn't get a photo clear enough to show it); there are no other flaws I can find on the sugar bowl or lid.

Both pieces have a detailed stamp under the glaze that reads: "Lambethware / Royal Doulton / Sandsprite / L.S. 1013 / Made in England". Price: $12.00.

Four “Rondelay” Cups and Saucers
Concord Shape

Four lovely green-trimmed cups and saucers in the "Rondelay" pattern from Royal Doulton China. They are described at replacements.com (item 81564) as "Concord, brown & white flowers, green band" (c. 1970-1997).

The four fine bone china saucers measure 6-1/8 inches across the rim. They are in excellent condition, with rich gold trim around the verge and rim, and richly colored decorations. They appear to have never been used. The cups are 3-3/8 inches wide at the rim and 2-7/8 inches high, and are also in excellent condition.

All four sets have a detailed stamp under the glaze (photos below) that reads: "Made in England / Royal Doulton / England / English Fine Bone China / RONDELAY / H. 5004 / Copyright / Doulton & Co. Ltd."

Old Leeds Spray
Saucer

A lovely hand-decorated saucer from Royal Doulton, in a pattern called "Old Leeds Spray" (8-sided, green trim, see replacements item 81376).

This small saucer is in good condition. It measures 5.5 inches wide. The floral bouquet decoration with red ribbons has rich colors, with some utensil marks on the indented base.

The saucer is stamped on the base with a dark green underglaze stamp that shows the lion on crown logo , with the pattern name Old Leeds Sprays. There is also a string of numbers:

Blue Iris Cup (or Mug)

An extremely pretty cup or mug decorated with a richly designed irises and leaves, with a blue band at the bottom. The pattern is "Blue Iris," and the maker is Royal Doulton China (England).

This cup is in very good condition. It measures 3 inches high and 3.5 inches wide at the rim. There are no flaws that I can find (no chips or cracks or crazing, not even utensil marks); the piece looks unused and new.

The cup is stamped on the base with a detailed mark for Royal Doulton, Lambethware, and the pattern name "Blue Iris." Price: $10.00.
