Metlox Poppy Trail
“California Strawberry”
Covered Butter Dish with Lid

A covered butter dish (with lid) from Metlox Poppy Trail, in a pattern called "California Strawberry," featuring embossed berries, flower, and leaves as the lid's handle, on a tan body with greenish-brown trim.

This butter dish and lid are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or flakes. There are very few signs of utensil marks or wear. The underplate measures 8-5/8 inches long and 3.75 inches wide at the center. The lid sits 3.5 inches high at the top of the handle (when on the plate).

The bottom of the underplate is marked Poppy Trail / by Metlox / Made in California / 372.
