Precious Pigs
11.25" Round Plate / Platter

A wonderfully designed large dinner plate or platter (cake plate?) from Louisville Stoneware of Kentucky, featuring three cute pigs in a design called "Precious Pigs."

This cheerful piece is glazed in a rich gray with bright blue and light orange and white accents. It measures 11.25 inches wide across the center of the rim.

This heavy piece is in very good to excellent condition, with no flaws or chips, no utensil marks or wear. The bottom is clearly marked "Louisville Stoneware / Made in Kentucky." Price: $15.00.

Gaggle of Geese
Rounded Creamer & Powdered Sugar Shaker

Two wonderfully designed pieces of heavy stoneware from Louisville Stoneware of Kentucky, featuring three lively geese on a gray background, with white highlights and blue lines around the rim. On the left (above picture) is the rounded creamer, and on the right is a straight-sided powered sugar shaker.

The creamer measures 3.25 inches high at the tip of the spout and 3.25 inches wide across the foot. The sugar shake measures 4.5 inches high and 3.5 inches wide across the foot. The sugar shake also has a plastic stopper.

Both pieces are in very good to excellent condition, with no flaws or wear that I can see. The bottom of each is stamped "Louisville Stoneware / Made in Kentucky / Gaggle of Geese." Price: $12.00

Bachelor Button
Canister with Lid

A hand-decorated canister with lid from Louisville Stoneware of Kentucky, in the pattern called "Bachelor Button," with a dark blue cornflower with green leaves and blue border on a gray background. There is nicegreen trim around the handle on the lid and on the rim of the jar.

This large piece measures 6 inches high at the rim (without the lid), and about 5.5 inches wide. With the lid on, the height goes to 8 inches. It is in very good to excellent condition, with no chips or cracks or signs of use or wear.

The bottom is stamped with a blue mark for "Louisville Stoneware / Made in Kentucky." Price: $25.00.
