Beautiful Small Vintage Vase from
Czechoslovakia
Hand-Painted Design

A gorgeous hand-painted small vase with two handles, with an elegant design of large red (almost orange) flowers (I think poppies) with vining green leaves. This little gem is from the former Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). I thought the maker was "Coronet," but a little research shows apparently that Coronet was a New York import company in business in the 1930s.

This pretty vase measures about 4.75 inches high and 4 inches wide across the bulbous middle. It is in very good condition, with just a bit of wear to the red trim around the rim. There are no cracks or chips or crazing.

The piece is stamped in black with a crown logo circled by a wreath, and the words "Trade Mark / Coronet / Czechoslovakia Registered."

Beautiful Round Vase from
Czechoslovakia
Hand-Painted Design

An electrifying hand-decorated small vase with two handles, in a very orange-red glaze, with slight accents in black on the handles and rim. This little gem is from the former Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). I thought the maker was "Coronet," but a little research shows apparently that Coronet was a New York import company in business in the 1930s.

This gorgeous vase measures about 4.75 inches high and 4 inches wide across the bulbous middle. It is in very good condition, with just a bit of wear to the black trim around the rim (other white spots are camera flash). There are no cracks or chips or crazing.

The piece is stamped in black with a crown logo circled by a wreath, and the words "Trade Mark / Coronet / Czechoslovakia Registered."
