Special Training Programs

George Rumsey has provided training to the University of Chicago Library Systems since 1983, with classes in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Horizon. Classes and registration are usually limited to library personnel, except by special arrangement. Details are available at lib.uchicago.edu. Classes for University of Chicago Law School students are arranged through the Dean's Office, usually twice a year.

George also trains the staff and faculty at Loyola University-Chicago in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Photoshop; classes are held twice a year. Summer classes are in late July or early August at the Lakeshore campus, and winter classes are the week after New Years in January at the Water Tower campus. Search for keyword "training" at luc.edu for details.

George will be teaching as part of Orientation Week at Northwestern University School of Law for incoming first-year law students in late August. He also teaches KLM students in June, and specially scheduled classes for law faculty and staff, as organized by the IT Department.
