Presented by Jean Pickering, President & Social Media Director, The

In 2004,
2 guys launched Facebook from their dorm room at Harvard University. It
quickly grew to be the chosen social media tool used by college students
to network with each other. As those students graduated, they took Facebook
with them and all of a sudden, everyone realized the value of Facebook
and started using it to share information and communicate with their friends
and associates. If Facebook were a country, it would be the 4th largest
country in the world. It has been adopted by individuals of all ages,
large and small companies and non-profits.
