Instructor:
The instructor, Maria Barnes, has a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois. She has been a professional software developer for 25 years and is fluent in both Basic and C programming languages. Currently she runs Barnes Business Solutions, Inc. located in the western Chicago suburbs. Maria has been training users in a variety of software systems over the past 15 years and is a frequent speaker at industry forums like the “Chicago Access User Group” and “West suburban Access User Group”, as well as various networking groups in the Fox Valley area. Her specialty is database systems including SQL Server and Microsoft® Access. She has been an Access Developer for seven years and has experience in versions 97 thru 2007. Ms. Barnes is a Microsoft Certified Professional in developing Microsoft Visual Basic .NET, a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server 2008, Database Development, and a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist in both Access 2007 and Excel 2007.
