2 Gonder Candlestick Holders, E-14
Pink and Blue-Gray Flower Shape

A pair of candlestick holders from Gonder Pottery (opened by Lawton Gonder in 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio, closed in 1957). These two pieces of vintage Ohio pottery are shaped like flowers, with a pink and blue-gray glaze. One is slightly bluer on the exterior and grayer on the interior, as you can see in the photos.

Both candle holders measure about 4.75 inches wide and about 1.75 inches high at the side. They were probably made at different times, as one has a higher center part, and is slightly taller.

In addition, one has an embossed mark, one has an incised mark! Both are marked with the Gonder logo, U.S.A., and the shape number E-14.
