Delightful Vintage Design:
Porky Pig with Apple
Planter with Rich Colors

A very cute planter, shaped like "Porky the Pig" leaning against an apple. The little guy is wearing yellow and green, and the red apple and pink cheeks complete the image!

It measures 5.25 inches high, 5.5 inches long and 3.5 inches deep. It is in good condition with light overall crazing. There is a drying crack in the top of the head (photo below, I believe original to manufacture), and a couple of glaze pops (also original to manufacture). There are two tight hairline cracks on the red apple, of the sort I usually associate with Royal Copley pottery.

The vase is not marked. The foot shows an exposed (unglazed) white clay, similar to many different potteries. Price: $15

Pair of Yellow Cornucopias

Unmarked, 5 inches long by 3 inches high. Made in the style of McCoy, Shawnee, Redwing, and many other makes. Base is a glazed center with unglazed white rim.

NEW: PGP Board at eBay identified them as American Pottery Company (APCo).
